To strengthen cross-departmental communication, gather authentic employee voices, and foster a more cohesive and collaborative team culture, SUOER recently hosted a heartfelt Employee Feedback Exchange Session as part of its team building activities. Over 70 employees from R&D, sales, production, customer support, and administration departments came together, turning a casual meeting room into a platform for open dialogue and mutual understanding. As a leading manufacturer with 30 years of experience in the solar energy storage industry—specializing in inverters, chargers, and controllers—SUOER has always believed that employees are the cornerstone of enterprise development, and this feedback session was a vivid practice of this core value.
The event kicked off with a warm opening speech from the HR director, who emphasized: “Every voice matters. Your feedback is not just a suggestion, but the driving force for SUOER’s continuous progress.” To encourage open sharing, the session was designed in a relaxed roundtable format, with participants divided into 8 mixed groups (combining members from different departments) to discuss topics such as “work process optimization,” “cross-departmental collaboration barriers,” “product R&D improvement,” and “employee welfare enhancement.” Each group was equipped with a moderator to guide the discussion and record key feedback, ensuring every opinion was heard and documented.
The most inspiring part of the session was the in-depth exchange around business-specific challenges. In one group, sales team members shared their experiences of communicating with global customers (from North America, Europe, and the Middle East), pointing out that closer collaboration with the R&D team during pre-sales consultations could better address customer concerns about inverter efficiency and controller smart functions. In response, R&D representatives actively took notes and proposed setting up a regular communication mechanism to share the latest product technical updates with the sales team. Another group focused on production process optimization: production staff suggested improving the assembly line layout for charger components to enhance work efficiency, while the administration team offered solutions related to logistics support and equipment maintenance.
After the group discussions, each group sent a representative to share their key feedback and consensus with all participants. Many employees mentioned that the mixed-group setting broke down the “departmental silo” that sometimes exists in daily work. “I rarely had the chance to talk to colleagues from the production team before,” said a marketing employee. “Through this exchange, I finally understand the challenges they face in ensuring product quality, which will help me better position our products in market promotions.” Additionally, employees put forward valuable suggestions on employee welfare, such as flexible working hours for employees with family responsibilities and more professional skill training opportunities related to renewable energy technologies.
To show the company’s emphasis on employee feedback, the HR team and department managers summarized all suggestions on-site, categorized them into actionable items, and announced that a special follow-up team would be established to track the progress of each item. “We will reply to every valid suggestion within two weeks,” said the general manager who attended the session. “SUOER’s success in the global solar energy storage market is inseparable from the efforts of every employee. Only by listening to your voices can we grow better together.”
As the session came to an end, employees left with a sense of being valued and a stronger sense of belonging. This feedback exchange session was not just a simple team building activity, but a bridge connecting different departments and aligning individual goals with corporate development. It not only helped the company identify potential problems in work processes and product R&D but also enhanced mutual trust and understanding among employees.
Looking ahead, SUOER will take this session as a starting point to establish a regular employee feedback mechanism, making open dialogue a part of the corporate culture. With the joint efforts of all employees, SUOER will continue to optimize its solar energy storage products and services, strengthen team collaboration, and move forward steadily in the global renewable energy industry. After all, a team that listens to each other and grows together is the most powerful driving force for enterprise development.
